Hi. My names Yell. I'm 17, female and currently reside in the UK.
BMX Racing is my sport.
It has been my sport for just over a month.
I race a stock Diamondback Demon BMX Dirt bike, which I bought from halfords for £99 about 4 years ago.
Back then, it was intended as a muck-around sort of bike, to replace my 6-year-old Mongoose Menace which was rusted, brakeless and constantly punctured.
But now, it needs replacing itself. I decided I'm going to try my hand at building a new bike from scratch, using salvageable parts from my previous two, and gradually replacing them with brand new parts.
I'm a Noob. I know nothing of BMX race bikes, let alone how to go about building them.
This blog will follow my attempts at building a new race bmx.
